2x Cap

Is pre-settlement funding a loan?

In most contexts, pre-settlement funding is structured as non-recourse funding rather than a traditional loan. Repayment is tied to a successful recovery, subject to the funding agreement.

Do I need an attorney?

Yes. Injan works with clients who are already represented by legal counsel and coordinates directly with the law firm.

What happens if I lose my case?

If there is no recovery, there is no repayment obligation, subject to the agreement.

What does 2x Cap mean?

The maximum repayment is capped at 2x the funded amount, subject to the funding agreement and eligibility.

Will this affect my credit?

No. Injan does not perform credit checks as part of the funding request process.

How fast can I receive funds?

Funding timing depends on approval, attorney coordination, signed documents, identity verification, and payment method. Funds may be sent as soon as the same day once all documents are complete and approved.

What can funds be used for?

Everyday expenses such as rent, groceries, insurance, medical bills, transportation, or other needs while the case is pending, subject to funding terms.

Does Injan give legal advice?

No. Injan is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, does not refer attorneys, and does not interfere with case strategy.

What information do you collect?

We collect the information needed to process your application, verify your identity, coordinate with your law firm, and disburse funds. See our Privacy Policy for the full list and how the information is used.

How does attorney coordination work?

Injan contacts the law firm or paralegal to confirm case details and obtain required documentation before funding is approved or issued.
