These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website operated by Injury Angels Inc. d/b/a Injan Legal Funding ("Injan," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, submitting a form, or requesting information, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
Injan provides non-recourse pre-settlement funding to eligible represented personal injury claimants in Texas. Injan is not a bank, does not provide traditional loans, and does not perform credit checks as part of the funding request process.
Injan is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Injan does not refer attorneys, recommend attorneys, or act as a lawyer referral service. Injan does not interfere with legal strategy, attorney-client communications, settlement decisions, or the handling of any legal claim. Applicants should consult their own attorney regarding legal questions, case strategy, settlement decisions, and the legal effect of any funding agreement.
Submitting a form through the website does not create an automatic approval, funding obligation, or binding agreement. To be considered for funding, an applicant generally must:
Injan may approve, deny, cancel, pause, or request more information regarding a funding request at any time before all required signatures and internal approvals are completed and funds are disbursed.
Injan's funding is non-recourse. This means repayment is owed only from a successful recovery, settlement, judgment, or other case proceeds, subject to the signed funding agreement. If there is no recovery, there is no repayment obligation, subject to the final signed agreement terms.
Repayment will not exceed 2x the funded amount, subject to the signed funding agreement. The applicant will receive written funding terms, including the repayment amount or applicable cap, before signing the funding agreement.
There is no fee to apply through the website. Any applicable fees, payment method charges, administrative costs, or other amounts related to funding are disclosed in the written funding agreement before signing.
If a funding request is approved and all required documentation is completed, Injan may disburse funds through available and approved payment methods, which may include bank transfer or other payment services. Availability of a payment method may depend on internal approval, banking requirements, account verification, payment service provider rules, cutoff times, holidays, and other operational limitations.
No purchase is made directly through the website. Funding terms, cancellation rights, repayment obligations, fees, and any applicable refund or return issues are governed by the signed funding agreement. The applicant receives the agreement terms before signing and receives a copy of the signed agreement after completion.
Submitting a form through the website does not create any automatic renewal, subscription, or recurring payment commitment. Any recurring commitment, payment instruction, or financial obligation would apply only if clearly stated in the signed funding agreement.
Funding timing can vary. Delays may occur due to attorney confirmation, missing or incomplete documentation, identity or case review, internal approval, banking or payment method processing, holidays, cutoff times, or other operational requirements. Injan does not guarantee that funds will be available by a specific date or time unless expressly stated in a signed agreement.
Applicants are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information. Incorrect or incomplete information may delay review, prevent approval, or affect funding terms. If information submitted to Injan is incorrect or incomplete, please contact admin@injan.org as soon as possible.
Injan may communicate by phone, email, text message, and electronic documents. Funding agreements may be signed electronically using tools such as DocuSign. By submitting information or signing electronically, you consent to receive communications and documents electronically to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Injan currently provides funding services only in Texas. Information on the website should not be interpreted as an offer to provide funding in any state where the service is not available or permitted.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When updated, the revised Terms & Conditions will be posted on the website with a new effective date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you acknowledge the revised Terms & Conditions.
